Los Angeles Frocktails returns for its annual gathering, bringing together makers, sewists, and fashion lovers for an afternoon of creativity, connection, and truly excellent outfits.

If you’ve been saving something special to wear… this is your sign.

What’s Happening

Join us for a relaxed, stylish afternoon featuring:

  • A welcoming space to meet, chat, and admire each other’s work

  • A beautiful Arts District venue with great light and room to mingle

  • A DJ setting the soundtrack for the afternoon

  • Photo opportunities to capture your outfit (and the memories)

  • Easy, low-pressure icebreakers to help you meet new people

  • A red carpet / mock runway moment

    • Participation is completely optional

    • A fun chance to show off your work

    • Walk to a room full of enthusiastic, encouraging cheers

  • Thoughtfully crafted cocktails and small bites, designed to keep the conversation flowing

  • Raffles, surprises, and plenty of “wait, you made that?” moments

Think celebration, creativity, and community… with good energy doing most of the work.

Giving Back

One of our favorite Frocktails traditions continues…
Any profit from the raffles will be donated to Day for Girls, a global nonprofit supporting menstrual health education and access for women and girls. Getting dressed up for a good cause feels especially good.

Location & Getting There

We’ll be gathering at 801 Mateo St in the heart of LA’s Arts District — a creative, walkable neighborhood filled with galleries, cafés, and excellent spots to keep the fun going.

Driving:
Street parking and nearby paid lots are available. Arriving a little early is recommended if you want to park close.

Public Transit & Rideshare:
Both are great options, especially if you plan to enjoy a cocktail or two. Carpooling with friends is always encouraged.

Make a Weekend of It

The Arts District is perfect for wandering before or after the event, and Little Tokyo (J-Town) is just a few blocks away — ideal for dinner, dessert, or continuing conversations with new friends.

Feeling extra inspired?

Optional Sunday Field Trip:
Join us for a casual, unofficial fabric district outing on Sunday. No schedule, no pressure… just fabric shopping, wandering, and geeking out together.
